The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says deputies, working with Omaha Police, and the Nebraska Department of Revenue, served a search warrant at a Omaha business Thursday morning.

The Sheriff says the warrant, served at the "Nebraska Precious Metals Company" near 84th and "F" Streets, came from a months- long joint investigation where investigators discovered the owner and a manager of Nebraska Precious Metals knowingly and willingly conspired to purchase property stolen from numerous retail stores throughout the metro area.

The Sheriff's news release says Jarrod Mcintyre of Omaha, the owner of "Nebraska Precious Metals," and Melanie Pursley of Council Bluffs, the manager of the business, were both arrested and booked into Douglas County Corrections.

The Sheriff's Office says more details will be released later.
