Omaha Police continue to investigate a fatal traffic crash involving a motorcycle.
It happened at 77th Avenue and L Street on Monday evening.
Investigators determined a Subaru Outback was stopped at the red light on 77th Avenue.
Police say the Subaru entered the roadway and an eastbound motorcycle attempted to brake to avoid a collision.
The motorcycle was laid down and the rider, 42-year-old Geovanni Cardenas, separated from it.
A citizen performed CPR on Geovanni Cardenas until Omaha Fire Department Paramedics arrived.
He was taken to a hospital and died on Tuesday.
OPD says charges are pending against the driver of the Subaru.
