University Of Nebraska Remove Mentions Of Diversity From Policies

(Lincoln, NE) -- The University of Nebraska Board of Regents voted to remove mentions of diversity or race from its policies.

The board held a vote on Friday to remove any mention of race or diversity, in compliance with the Trump Administration's new federal guidelines. The vote comes after universities across the country received a letter from the U.S. Department of Education instructing them to comply with new guidelines or risk losing federal funding. Despite some Regents proposing amendments to the new policies, these amendments did not pass
