There are numerous reports that have former Creighton Bluejay player and assistant coach Alan Huss returning to the "white and the blue" in Omaha to be named an assistant coach and "head-coach-in-waiting" for the men's basketball team.

He'll succeed Greg McDermott when the Creighton mens hoops coach with the most wins in school history chooses to retire.

Huss was the head coach at High Point University for the past two seasons, leading the Panthers to an NCAA Tournament appearance.

He played at Creighton for another Bluejay legend, Dana Altman.
