(Omaha, Nebraska) -- Thousands of blue pinwheels are scattered around Omaha to raise awareness for Child Abuse Awareness Month.
Throughout April, Project Harmony will be hosting events to bring awareness to the commitment to preventing child abuse and neglect. The Omaha-based non-profit investigates and resolves child abuse cases. Last year, they provided services to over 9,000 children. This month's Pinwheels for Prevention campaign aims to raise awareness of this life-threatening issue. The pinwheel represents the stable childhood that every kid deserves.
More information on how to get involved is available on Project Harmony's Website.
