Bellevue Police say a person was detained and questioned in connection with a death.
Officers went to a residence in the 2800 block of Kansas Drive early Monday morning on a report of a physical domestic disturbance.
They found 43-year -old Jeffrey A. Hettinger on the floor with apparent stab wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers also found a 26-year-old woman at the scene, who appeared to be involved in the disturbance.
The female reported pain to her nose, but refused medical attention and was immediately detained for questioning.
The woman was later taken to a medical facility for evaluation, not related to any physical injuries.
Bellevue Police say all individuals involved have been accounted for and do not believe there is any danger to the public.
