(Holdrege, NE) -- The State Patrol SWAT Team uses tear gas to end a stand -off and arrest a suspect in a domestic violence investigation in Holdrege in south central Nebraska.

The NSP says Holdrege Police and Phelps County Sheriff's Deputies answered a call of a domestic assault Sunday evening when 39-year old Lucas Barrow barricaded himself in an apartment and was possibly armed.

After hours of attempting to communicate with the suspect, he voluntarily surrendered early Monday morning after the tear gas was used.
