Bellevue Shooting Death Suspect Denied Bond

A suspect in a Bellevue shooting death makes a court appearance and is denied bond.

23-year- old Christian Lara is charged with second degree murder and other charges in the death of 21-year -old George Negrete.

Bellevue Police administered CPR to Negrete after finding him with a gunshot wound at an apartment complex near 13th and Galvin Road on March 13th.

He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

A preliminary hearing for Lara is set for April 23rd.

He remains in the Sarpy County Jail.
