"College World Series of Omaha, Inc." announces a special celebration of its 75th Anniversary, honoring decades of NCAA Championship baseball in Omaha.
The organization says, " the diamond anniversary promises an exciting lineup of events and experiences to honor Omaha’s enduring role as the heart of college baseball."
A special 75th Anniversary logo showcases the iconic "Road to Omaha" statue that is outside Charles Schwab Field.
It was also announced that for the first time, the Omaha Mavericks will join Creighton University as co-hosts of the CWS.
On Wednesday, Anthony Holman, the NCAA’s Vice President of Championships said, “For 75 years, Creighton University has been instrumental in the success of the Men’s College World Series. We’re excited to celebrate this historic anniversary and welcome UNO as a co-host, continuing to elevate the championship experience.”
