UPDATE: OPD Robbery Unit detectives have identified a person of interest in the bank robbery that occurred on Thursday, December 5th. OPD is looking for 29-year-old Jal Chuar, 29. Police wish to question Chuar about the bank robbery. He has an active felony warrant for theft by unlawful taking related to an auto theft investigation.

(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man seen on surveillance during a bank robbery Wednesday morning at First National Bank at 5006 Ames Avenue, Omaha. Police were called to the bank at 9:18 a.m. Employees said a male suspect gave a note to a teller demanding money, then left on foot east with an undetermined amount of cash.
Investigators say the suspect is described as a tall black male with a slender build, wearing a red beanie, black zip up hooded sweatshirt, light blue denim pants and red Nike Air Jordans.
