(Lincoln, NE) -- Nearly all of Nebraska remains in drought or near drought. This week's U-S Drought Monitor from the University of Nebraska shows 93% of the state as either abnormally dry or in some level of drought. Most of the state is either in moderate to severe drought. Portions of the state also remain in extreme drought.
The National Weather service is predicting warmer temperatures this weekend, but no precipitation in sight. A dry front on Monday will bring back cooler temperatures next week.
