(Omaha, NE) -- The U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree will be at the RiverFront this week. Visitors will be able to see it on the 11th Street Promenade in Gene Leahy Mall, from 5-7 p.m. this Wednesday, November 13th.
Organizers are planning live music, food trucks, photo opportunities, guest appearances by Smokey the Bear, Sasha the Salmon and Woodsy the Owl, among other festive activities where U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree merchandise will also be available for purchase.
Visitors will be invited to sign a banner that will be incorporated into the holiday display located in Washington D.C., enshrining Omaha’s place in a piece of 2024 holiday history.
