Nebraska State Patrol 'Pink Patches' Honor Breast Cancer Fighters

In October, the Nebraska State Patrol again honors breast cancer fighters across the state with the "Pink Patch Project."

2024 is the seventh year for the patrol’s participation in the effort to coincide with "Breast Cancer Awareness Month."

The "Pink Patch Project" is a national campaign in which many law enforcement officers wear a pink version of their agency’s distinctive shoulder patch.

Nebraska Troopers have the option of replacing their traditional patch with a pink NSP patch for the month of October.

The pink NSP patches are available for purchase for $10 for members of the public at local NSP offices.

All proceeds will benefit Nebraska’s Hereditary Cancer Foundation.
