The Nebraska Supreme Court issues a ruling that upholds LB574, a law passed in the 2023 Legislature banning abortions after twelve weeks plus prohibiting gender-transitioning treatments for minors.
The Nebraska Legislature combined two laws into one bill, and opponents argued that was a violation of the Nebraska constitution's, "one subject rule."
Planned Parenthood of the Heartland filed the lawsuit.
