Officers were called to the Quik Trip at Saddle Creek Rd. and Leavenworth.around 1:20 a.m. Thursday and spoke with the clerk, who told them an unknown male jumped the counter and took money from the register.
The suspect then left the area in a dark colored sedan.
Omaha Police are also investigating a robbery at the Cuming Food Mart at 4002 Cuming St.
Officers were called to that location around 6:00 a.m.
A witness said an unknown male wearing a mask entered the store, brandished a knife, and demanded money.
The suspect took the cash and left the store on foot.
