Through a proclamation this Thanksgiving Holiday Week, Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen condemns antisemitism and reaffirms the State of Nebraska’s support for Israel and Nebraska’s Jewish communities.
The Governor says Lieutenant Governor Joe Kelly will serve as a liaison between Nebraska’s Jewish community, other faiths, and state law enforcement agencies to ensure that threats are addressed promptly.
The Governor also directs the Department of Administrative Services State Personnel Division to review all anti-harassment and anti-discrimination training provided to state public servants to ensure Jewish identity and antisemitism are sufficiently covered by such training.
