Vehicle Traffic Changes At Eppley Airfield

The Omaha Airport Authority reminds us passenger drop-off and pick-up areas at Eppley Field will change beginning around ten a.m. Friday and remain in place until the Spring of 2025.

This is for the "Build OMA Terminal Drive & Canopy Project."

All passenger vehicles dropping off or picking up passengers will enter specific traffic lanes on Level 1 of the South Garage.

The airport management has these additional reminders:

• Drivers will see signage directing them to the correct lane of the South Garage where they will drop-off or pick-up passengers.

• Passengers will use crosswalks and the elevated walkways to move between the South Garage and the Terminal. Passengers with special needs can call (402) 661-8100 to request assistance.

• Vehicles entering those lanes in the South Garage will not be charged parking fees. All other parking will continue to be available with no changes to entry or exit lanes.

•The $65 million project is to wrap up in Spring, 2025. The passenger drop-off/pick-up lanes will return curbside to the Terminal at that time along with an additional passenger drop-off lane, expanded ADA accessibility of the drop-off, and pick-up areas, and a large glass canopy providing protection from the elements.
