Omaha State Inmate Missing

Nebraska Corrections reports an inmate is missing from the Community Corrections Center – Omaha.

They say 29-year old Austin Risor left his place of employment Thursday and did not return.

Risor started his sentence in 2016: 10 to 12 years out of Madison County that include theft, operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest, and drug charges.

He has a tentative release date of February 24th, 2024.

Anyone with information is asked to contact local police or the Nebraska State Patrol.

The State of Nebraska says Community Corrections Center-Omaha is one of two community custody facilities operated by the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services.

They say community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility, with inmates allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval, and without direct supervision.
