Fallen K.C.M.O. Police Officer To Be Honored In Bellevue

Mayor Rusty Hike and the City of Bellevue, the Bellevue Police Department, and the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office will honor and remember a fallen Missouri Police officer, who went to high school in Sarpy County and whose parents live in Bellevue.

The street sign dedication ceremony is to honor and remember veteran Kansas City Police Officer and Omaha Bryan High School graduate James "Jim" Muhlbauer and his Police Service Dog Champ.

They died in the line of duty in a traffic crash in February.

The ceremony will be tomorrow (Thursday), June 8th, at two p.m. at the intersection of 49th Ave. and Lillian Streets as the Mayor and Officer Muhlbauer's family unveil the street sign.

The public is invited;

Parking will be available on Lillian St. or at Pawnee Elementary School.
