(Omaha, NE) -- A popular north Omaha barbeque restaurant catches fire.
The Omaha Fire Department says just before 9:30 Wednesday morning, crews were called to Jim's Rib Haven near 38th and Ames for a fire. Fire crews reported flames showing on approach, and a working fire was declared. OFD says everyone in the restaurant had exited the building before fire crews got there. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was determined to be a failure in the cooking equipment. Damage to the building and its contents totaled $60,000.
