Douglas Co. Sheriff's Office asks for public's help in death investigation

(Omaha, NE) -- The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in a death investigation.

DCSO says on February 7th, they received a missing person report for 39 year old Laron Hodges of Omaha. Investigators say family members indicated that they had last seen Hodges on February 2nd. The sheriff's office says as the investigation progressed, detectives were able to locate Hodges’ vehicle in a private impound lot in Omaha. The vehicle was searched and Hodges’ body was found concealed inside. The DCSO is investigating Hodges' death as a homicide, in collaboration with the Omaha Police Department.
