(Omaha, NE) -- Forecasters continue to limit the chances for heavy snow in Omaha this week.

"Most of the stuff that makes it snow is really gonna be kind of to the northern portion of our forecast area," says National Weather Service Meteorologist Dirk Petersen. "So far northeast Nebraska, closer to the South Dakota/Nebraska border, and into northwest Iowa."

Right now the forecast calls for 0-2 inches of snow in Omaha early Thursday morning into Thursday evening. A rain/snow mix is most likely during the day Thursday. In northern Nebraska places could see anywhere from 2-6 inches of snow.
