Herbster, Slama drop lawsuits against one another

(Johnson County, NE) -- Former candidate for Nebraska Governor, Charles Herbster, and State Senator Julie Slama drop their lawsuits against one another.

Earlier this year, Slama claimed Herbster had inappropriately touched her at a Republican fundraising event in Omaha three years ago. Herbster said the Senator was lying and filed a slander suit, with Slama filing a counter suit. Court records show that the pair had a judge dismiss their lawsuits in Johnson County Thursday morning.

In April Senator Slama, along with seven other women, alleged Herbster of sexual misconduct in a report from the Nebraska Examiner.
