No charges for man in connection to fatal road rage altercation

(Omaha, NE) -- No charges will be filed against a man who police say was involved in a fatal road rage altercation.

On Friday, the Omaha Police Department announced that it had concluded it's investigation into the death of Paul Arispe. Police say the investigation showed that the night of May 15th, 57 year old Paul Arispe was involved in a road rage incident with Benjamin Yarbrough. Investigators say Arispe followed Yarbrough to Yarbrough's mother's home. OPD says at that time, Arispe exited his vehicle and followed Yarbrough into the front yard of the home, where the two men got into a confrontation. Investigators say Arispe was pushed and fell to the ground, causing severe injuries to his head from the fall. On Tuesday, May 17th, Paul Arispe died due to his injuries.

OPD says after consulting with the Douglas County Attorney's Office, and based on the evidence gathered and witness statements, it was determined that no charges will be filed in relation to the incident.
