(Omaha, NE) -- Funeral services for former Nebraska Congressman Brad Ashford are announced.
A visitation for Ashford will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church near 86th and Pacific, at 6:15 p.m. Friday. The funeral will be held at the church at 10:00 the next morning. Burial services will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Livestream details are still being finalized.
The 72 year old former Congressman and State Senator died Tuesday morning from brain cancer. Ashford served as Nebraska’s 2nd Congressman from 2015 until 2017 and served 16 years in the state legislature.
