(Undated) -- The State of Nebraska will be well represented this week during the start of both the men's and women's NCAA basketball tournaments.
The Creighton men earned the number nine seed in the Midwest Region and will take on eight seed San Diego State at 6:30 Thursday night in Fort Worth, Texas.
Meanwhile, the Creighton women are making their way to the tournament for the first time since 2018. The number 10 seed Bluejays will play seventh seeded Colorado in Iowa City at 12:30 PM on Friday.
The Husker women are headed to Louisville as the number eight seed and will face ninth-seeded Gonzaga at 2:30 PM on Friday.
