(Omaha, NE) -- Nebraska Medicine is changing their masking policy amid an ongoing surge in local COVID-19 ases.
On Wednesday, the hospital system said that everyone must wear a well-fitted, hospital-grade, multi-layer procedural mask inside their facilities. Fabric masks, gaiters, vented masks and bandanas are not allowed. Appropriate masks will be provided at entrance points for those whoe do not have one. Nebraska Med says visitors are allowed and encouraged to wear their own non-vented KN95 or N95 masks, if they have them.
