Nebraska unemployment rate falls again for month of November

(Lincoln, NE) -- An already historically low unemployment rate in Nebraska is dropping even more for the month of November.

The Nebraska Department of Labor released its unemployment numbers on Friday, reporting that the state’s unemployment rate decreased to 1.8%, down from 1.9% in October — which was a record low. Nebraska's unemployment rate is the lowest in the United States.

The unemployment rate in neighboring Iowa is also down, lowering from 3.9% in October to 3.7% in November. The national unemployment rate decreased from October to November as well, falling from 4.6% to 4.2%.
