(Bellevue, NE) -- Police in Bellevue are asking the public for help in identifying a woman suspected of forgery.

Investigators say the woman was caught on security camera footage in the drive-thru at a Bellevue bank, cashing a check that was stolen from a Lincoln business. Police say the check was altered to make it payable to her. The BPD says the suspect reportedly received nearly $3,000 in cash. The woman was driving a white Toyota with in-transit stickers.

Investigators say anyone who may know who the woman is should contact Sarpy County Crime Stoppers at 402-592-7867 or the Bellevue Police Department.
