Weather Forecasters Look For Temperature "Rollercoaster"

The National Weather Service says while dry weather is expected over the next several days, temperatures could take us on a bit of an emotional ride this week.

Highs will approach record levels on Tuesday before a breezy cold front drops us back into Fall, Wednesday and Thursday.

WOWT 6 News Senior Chief Meteorologist Rusty Lord says the record high for Tuesday is 73 set in 2016, and he has 74 in the afternoon forecast with a south-southwest wind gusting to near 30 mph.

A wind switch Tuesday night brings in cooler temps for Wednesday and Thursday.
