(Omaha, NE) -- One man is killed in a rollover crash on West Dodge.
The Omaha Police Department says just before 11:30 Tuesday morning, officers were called to 192nd and West Dodge for a single vehicle injury crash. Investigators say a 2018 Chevy Trax was eastbound on Dodge when witnesses say the vehicle drifted off the roadway and hit a pole. Police say the force of the crash spun the vehicle out and it caught fire.
Police say witnesses were able to pull the driver and sole occupant out before the vehicle became fully engulfed. OPD says medics attempted CPR without success and pronounced the victim, 55 year old Martin Robinson of Omaha, dead at the scene. Investigators say neither excessive speed nor alcohol use appear to be contributing factors.
