Workplace shooting in Superior leaves 2 dead, 2 hurt

(Superior, NE) -- A workplace shooting in Superior, near the Kansas border, leaves two dead and two others hurt.

The Nebraska State Patrol says 61-year-old Max Hoskinson's employment with Agrex Elevator was terminated. They say shortly before 2p-m, Hoskinson returned with a gun and opened fire on employees, killing one and wounding two others. An employee returned fire, hitting Hoskinson. He was pronounced dead at a Superior hospital.

One of the two wounded was treated and released with non-life-threatening injuries. The other was airlifted to Bryan Health West in Lincoln, where they remain in critical condition.
