The National Weather Service says a strong storm system will spin up some thunderstorms in our area Tuesday and Tuesday night.
The greatest severe risk is expected over Kansas and south central Nebraska Tuesday evening, but a couple of stronger storms could make it into eastern Nebraska and western Iowa Tuesday night.
These storms may produce damaging winds or hail.
WOWT 6 News Chief Meteorologist Rusty Lord says after the storms move out very early Wednesday, gusty south/southwest winds will try to hit 50 mph the rest of the day.
He says Fall conditions will then be back;
