(Omaha, NE) -- Benson Plant Rescue is giving free plants away for healthcare workers.
In a statement BPS said, "In appreciation of their service and sacrifices during the pandemic, the Benson Plant Rescue is giving away free plants to Healthcare Workers this weekend and next weekend." Healthcare workers may take either a #1 (gallon) perennial if they are a homeowner or three small succulents to use as houseplants if they do not have a yard. No purchase necessary, but workers will be asked to register their name and email and to show proof of their employment in the medical field.
The Benson Plant Rescue is located at 7229 Wirt Circle. Hours are Saturday October 9th and 16th from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM and on Sunday October 10th and 17th from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. For additional information call (402) 933-3867.
