(Omaha, NE) -- An arrest warrant is issued for a man accused in a Westroads Mall parking lot shooting that left one person dead and another injured.
On Wednesday, the Omaha Police Homicide Unit issued a felony warrant for 19 year old J'Maun Haynie on charges of 1st Degree Murder, 2nd Degree Assault and two counts of Use of a Weapon in connection to a September shooting death. Investigators say just after 11:00 the night of September 12th, officer were called to 9901 Nicholas for a report of a shooting. Once on the scene, officers found 18 year old Haley Grim and 18 year old Franco Vasquez suffering from gunshot wounds. Grim was taken to Bergan Mercy in critical condition. Vasquez was declared dead at the scene.
