Nebraska, Iowa pay tribute to fallen Marine Cpl. Daegan Page

(Omaha,NE) -- Thousands of people lined a procession route from Millard to Omaha National cemetery today (Friday), to pay respects to fallen Marine Corporal Daegan Page. He was one of 13 U-S service members killed during an explosion August 26th, outside the airport in Kabul, in Afghanistan. He was 23 years old.

The funeral was held this morning at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millard.

Page spent part of his childhood in Red Oak, Iowa. Flags in both Iowa and Nebraska are being flown at half staff today in his honor.

Page graduated from Millard South High School in 2016, and enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2017.
