Omaha firefighters rescue a person early Wednesday from a burning home in northwest Omaha, while another escaped the place on his own. Omaha Fire paramedics took them to the hospital;
The fire was around three a.m. and heavily damaged the home near 78th and Bauman Avenue;
When firefighters pulled up, they say there was heavy smoke and fire coming from the place. Three pets were found deceased;
Investigators now look for the cause of the fire;
