(Omaha, NE) -- Bond is set at 50-thousand dollars for the semi driver accused in the deaths of two people on I-80 Saturday.
Prosecutors say Yorkwind Crawford, of Florida, rear-ended a pickup truck with his semi, then continued to drive for more than a mile, hitting other cars.
The crash killed Creighton University Pharmacy professor Mark Kaipust and his 7-year-old son Taylor, both of whom were headed to Lincoln for the Nebraska game.
Crawford has been charged with two counts of motor vehicle homicide and reckless driving.
