Investigators say 29-year old Jamie Nau was found dead outside of a residence at 83rd and Miami Streets around seven Sunday evening.
Officers had originally been called to the scene on a report of a shooting.
Omaha Police are also investigating the case of a walk-in shooting victim arriving at a hospital.
The 16-year old victim told officers he was walking near 40th and Ames Avenue Sunday Afternoon when he heard a gunshot and then realized he had been struck by the gunfire.

Tips leading to an arrest in a homicide are eligible for up to a $25,000 reward.
