WOWT 6 News' Chief Meteorologist Rusty Lord says after the clouds and rains of Friday morning, heat and humidity will build ahead of a cold front that will spark storms in the area.
He says the best chance for storms in the Omaha-Council Bluffs Metro area will be in the 6-7 p.m. range.
The front then continues to move east, taking the storms with it Friday evening.
