(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Police are investigating two separate stabbing that sent a man and a woman to the hospital.
OPD says around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon, officers were called to a home near 162nd and Q for a reported stabbing. Once on the scene, officers found 37 year old Bernadette Black down in the driveway with multiple stab wounds. Black was trans ported to Bergen Mercy with life-threatening injuries. A man was arrested at the scene.
Around 4:15 Wednesday afternoon, investigators say 31 year old Bret Thomas was stabbed multiple times in the chest near 74th and Spring. Thomas was transported to Bergan Mercy for his injuries. A woman was taken in for questioning in connection to the stabbing.
The stabbings remain under investigation.
