The Judicial Nominating Commission for the Fourth Judicial District, encompassing Douglas County, has forwarded the names of five attorneys for the Governor’s consideration to be named to the Douglas County District Court bench: Grant Forsberg, Jeffrey Lux, Korey Taylor, and Jeffrey Welch, all of Omaha, and Molly Keane of Elkhorn.
The vacancy was created by amendments to state statutes establishing a seventeenth district court judge effective this year.
