Omaha Police Tuesday evening responded to "Midtown Gas and Grocery" near 24th Street and Poppleton Avenue in the Columbus Park neighborhood and spoke with an employee.
He told them a man entered the business, showed a gun, and demanded money.
The bandit took cash and then fled on foot north on 24th.
There were no injuries reported;
