Police say a 17-year-old juvenile female has turned herself in to law enforcement in connection with a Wednesday evening, southeast Omaha, hit and run that involved a pedestrian, and the teen has been cited for Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Negligent Driving.
Investigators say 45-year old Tara Boice of Omaha was crossing 13th Street from west to east at Arbor Street when she was hit by a S-U-V that did not stop.
The woman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries that were eventually determined to be non-life threatening.
