The Nebraska Department of Transportation reports 30 people were killed in traffic crashes on Nebraska roadways in June.
The fatalities happened in 22 crashes;
10 of the 26 vehicle passengers killed were not wearing seat belts, seven did have seatbelts in use, with seatbelt use unknown in nine of the cases.
NDOT says four fatalities were on the Interstate, 19 on other highways, and seven on local roads.
Two were pedestrians, two others were motorcyclists;
