Omaha Police say last Friday, 40 year old Tonnise Montgomery was arrested for second-degree domestic assault and use of a weapon in connection to the stabbing. Investigators say officers were called to the area of 42nd and Bedford Avenue for a stabbing where a witness told them that the cutting had happened near 40th and Wirt streets. Once at the stabbing scene, officers found a pink sandal with the victim’s blood on it in a yard.
