Beginning Friday, the City of Omaha says the Elkhorn Recycling Dropoff Site, 20801 Elkhorn Drive, will temporarily close for safety and priority access to the tree debris collection site which continues to operate.
Residents are urged to visit www.wasteline.org for a listing of materials accepted and alternative drop-off site locations.
The Elkhorn recycling drop off site location will reopen once the windstorm tree debris has been mulched or removed.
