Arrest made in Friday morning shooting death

(Omaha, NE) -- An arrest is made in a Friday morning shooting death.

Omaha Police say 23 year old Julian Lopez was arrested and booked into Douglas County Corrections on charges of 2nd Degree Murder and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.

Investigators say around 12:30 Friday morning, officers were called to the Tudor Heights Apartments near 108th and Maple for a suspected shooting. Police say once on the scene, officers found 40 year old Jose Valenzuela dead inside one of the units.

The investigation is ongoing.
