(Omaha, NE) -- An Omaha man accused in a fatal DUI crash near 90th and Dodge remains in jail, held on $300,000 bond.

Court documents show that 28 year old John Caillau is facing a charge of motor vehicle homicide DUI in connection to the pre-dawn crash Friday morning.

Omaha Police say Caillau was drunk and speeding when his eastbound SUV sideswiped an eastbound Toyota Camry just past the intersection of 90th street and West Dodge Road. The Toyota, driven by 63 year old James Yungbluth of Waterloo, was sent spinning into an ORBT bus stop and hit a concrete wall before flipping onto its roof. Yungbluth was pronounced dead at the scene.

Caillau’s SUV jumped a raised median, hit the median sign and flipped in the westbound lanes near 87th and Dodge. He was taken to Bergan Mercy and treated for minor injuries, then booked into jail. Investigators are waiting for results from a blood-alcohol test.
