Arrests Made In Omaha Shooting

Omaha Police arrest three people in connection with a Monday afternoon shooting at 56th and Orchard Avenue.

Police say 28-year old Nathan Case told them a male and female entered his apartment, and the man shot him.

The pair fled in a white Ford truck.

Officers say Case was taken to a hospital with a wound that turned out to be non-life threatening, though he was originally taken by Omaha Fire paramedics in critical condition..

Investigators soon developed information and took three people, two men and one woman, into custody at a residence near 49th and Miami Streets.

Police say 41-year old Richard Coats was booked for robbery, use of a weapon to commit a felony and prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

25-year old Gabrielle Thatcher was booked for robbery;

36-year old Corey Christensen was located at the residence with Coats and Thatcher and was booked for prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
